Juventus have confirmed their sacking of Motta from the post of head coach less than a year after he signed on with the Serie A giants from Bologna. USMNT stars Weston McKennie and Tim Weah will now have another new boss.
The Brazilian had an decent start with the Bianconeri, however, their struggles have hit a new peak over the last month as they were thrown out of the Champions League, and suffered Serie A batterings at the hands of Fiorentina and Atalanta.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
Motta joined Juventus to considerable fanfare last July, but the Bianconerri's on-field performance dampened spirits. With nine games remaining, Juventus are now in a dismal fifth place in the Serie A rankings. Under Motta, the Bianconerri played 42 matches in all competitions, winning 18, drawing 16 and losing eight.
